This website was founded in March 2001. Since 1997, I have been (and still are) maintaining the Mary Black Homepage. As I am also very fond of Frances' music, I decided to setup a second website dedicated to Frances Black. Before starting the website, I asked Frances and her manager for approval, which they gave without hesitation. Since 15 February 2002, this website has become Frances' official website.
One of the goals of this website is to inform and let fans actively participate in the website. One way to achieve this is by providing a free member section. In this member section, users can create an account and become part of the Frances Black community. They are able to contact other fans, set their favourite songs and albums and be part of a birthday calendar of all fans. Some of this member information is collected and made (anonomously) available in statistics, like an Album Top 10, Song Top 20 and a Country List. All these statistics can be viewed from within this section, by selecting an option from the top menu.
