I am happy to inform you that a new compilation album of Frances will be released in September, titled The Essential Frances Black Collection. With this new album, Frances will also tour through Ireland to perform at 14 concerts. For a list of all these concerts see the concert page.

I am happy to announce that The Essential Frances Black Collection will be released on 3 October 2008 in Ireland. This 40-track album contains the best of all Frances' songs from all her past albums, including songs from the no longer available Don't Get Me Wrong album that was released on the Sony label. The album also contains the track Emily that has never been released before on any of the albums, but which has been available as a free digital download from Frances' website.

Unfortunately, Emily will not be part of the Essential Frances Black album as there were too many songs for the second disc. However, the song can still be downloaded from this site for free.

Frances will be on a radio tour next week and will be signing copies of her album at the following times and locations.
